I want to address something regarding Mike Glover’s After Action Review of what happened at Uvalde. At the end of his AAR he talks about how to effect change, & he addresses a lot of things we need to rip the band aid off & address. One of the ugly bleeding wounds is the fact that Mike, one of the pre-eminent tactical trainers in America, offered up free advanced training to officers after Uvalde who wanted it. Several signed up. According to Mike’s comments at the end, none of them showed up.

Tony Cowden, a former Delta Force operator also offered training. I havent heard how that went, but i suspect not much different.

I advertised multiple times here & other places as did many others. What came of it?

Thats two Elite Special Operations soldiers offering free training to officers, & did they take it?

About two weeks ago retired Navy SEAL Jason Pike addressed this same issue and called out the Law Enforcement community for this failing. And you know what? It was deserved. Jason Pike has also gone public with the same problem Mike ran into: offer up advanced training, officers are no shows.

Rip that fucking band aid off, and face up to it, & fix it.

No more fucking Uvaldes.
No more fucking Parklands.
If you cant show up for training like THIS offered for FREE from men like these, surrender your fucking badge & weapon & go do something else.

I don’t understand all of the subtleties of federal judges and why they do what they do. But as a Layman I can recognize that the tide is turning.

For whatever reason we are beginning to see actual cojones, which would give you the impression that judges are influenced by the Sea change in the narrative all around us. They are supposed to be blind arbiters of justice, but so are baseball umpires.

Like everything else I go back to the Bible stories of my youth, I remember the judge that was persuaded by the nagging woman for redress of her grievance just to get her off of his back.

I don’t necessarily like what it says about our federal court system, about our judges, but I’m willing to just take the win.
