You know you're in trouble when your state's Attorney General signals you out for a filing like this. Despite repeated warnings to stop her "Magic City Christmas" scam over a period of several years, Terpsichore Maras blithely continued on her merry way for more than 5 years pretending to run a charity and hold events while she was pocketing all the $$$. She started by fleecing people rendered homeless by a building fire.

She soon expanded to claiming the beneficiaries of her charity now included local homeless shelters. She also insisted on pretending the Bank of North Dakota was a sponsor, using their logo despite the bank repeatedly telling her to stop doing that.

Of course, she was not passing on any of this money to the homeless shelters. Guess where it was going, according to North Dakota's AG?
