The formation of the British Movement (BM) was somewhat controversial and led to the formation of an interesting group, Column 88

In addition, Myatt was recruited by the underground paramilitary group, Column 88 which - it has been alleged - was part of the European Gladio "stay-behind" network, set up, and trained by, Special Forces units (such as the British SAS) to conduct sabotage and assassinations in the event of a Soviet invasion of Western Europe."
