[Weak spot BTC demand keeps focus on $73K support, analyst says]

Bitcoin needs stronger spot demand to sustain its uptrend, cryptocurrency analyst xwinfinance said on X, citing CryptoQuant data.

Bitcoin recovered $80,000 but later fell to the $75,000-$76,000 range amid a sharp drop in U.S. tech and AI-related stocks, the analyst said. While overheating in the futures market has eased somewhat, spot buying remains weak. Over the past five days, around 11,003 BTC saw net outflows from exchanges, and the 60-day cumulative accumulation metric for wallets holding more than 10,000 BTC has turned positive. At the same time, however, BTC inflows from retail-sized investors into Binance have risen sharply, while ETF fund flows and stablecoin liquidity remain sluggish. The analyst said the outlook for a rebound depends on support holding in the $73,000-$76,000 range and on a recovery in spot demand.
