[TD Cowen says U.S. CFTC crypto rules could be delayed until early 2028]

TD Cowen said in a recent report that the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission may already be behind in drawing up digital asset regulations, with the timeline for moving them forward likely to be affected by the 2028 U.S. presidential election cycle and its outcome.

[BTC may see faster downside if it falls below $82K]

Bitcoin has continued to trade sideways after failing to break above $84,000 yesterday, and a drop below $82,000 could trigger a deeper correction toward $79,000 or $77,000, crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe said on X.

Van de Poppe said a prolonged range-bound trend could follow, while expectations and investor sentiment toward the altcoin market remain subdued. As volatility rises, daily and weekly price swings could widen, and investors need to stay calm and get used to such moves, Van de Poppe added.

[Santiment says RLUSD growth does not guarantee gains for XRP]

On-chain analytics firm Santiment said growth in Ripple stablecoin RLUSD does not necessarily mean XRP will rise in price.

Santiment said XRP fell while RLUSD’s market capitalization increased sharply. The firm added that if financial institutions actively use RLUSD on the XRP Ledger, transaction counts and liquidity could increase and support XRP as well. At the same time, RLUSD could grow without boosting XRP demand, as it can also be used on other blockchains. Santiment noted that a small amount of XRP is burned with each transaction on the XRP Ledger, but said the scale is unlikely to have a major impact on price. Ultimately, the key factor is not RLUSD’s market capitalization itself, but whether financial institutions increase their actual usage of the XRP Ledger.

Earlier, Standard Chartered launched RLUSD custody services for institutions through its Dubai International Financial Centre branch.

[Yuga Labs VP urges users to revoke Blur NFT contract approvals]

Yuga Labs blockchain VP Quit said on X users should immediately revoke NFT access approvals granted to Blur smart contracts.

Quit said the recommendation comes as Blur plans to shut down front-end services for its official website on Nov. 12. Users therefore need to withdraw existing smart-contract approval permissions, according to the post. Quit added that no exploitable vulnerability has been identified in Blur’s smart contracts so far, but said the contracts’ upgradeable structure means the risk of malicious changes in the future cannot be ruled out. At least $10 million worth of NFT access permissions remain tied to Blur contracts, Quit said, adding that the safety of those assets could depend on the Blur operating team’s security management.

CoinNess previously reported that Blur will suspend front-end operations for its official website starting Nov. 12.
