๐ข CodeLeague Round 2 Important Registration Update
โณ Deadline: Tomorrow (Thursday, May 14)
If you already have a team, please make sure that ALL team members are registered individually.
โ ๏ธ If some of your teammates are not registered, it will be difficult to accommodate your full team at the event, and you may be forced to pair with other participants.
๐ฅ We only have a few spots left, and registration is first come, first served. If your teammate doesnโt register on time, they might miss the opportunity to compete.
๐ Make sure your full team registers as soon as possible.
๐ฉ After registration closes, we will send your participation status via email. More updates and details will follow after that.
๐ค For individual participants: donโt worry, we will match you with a team, and itโll be a great experience just like last time. ๐

Our Linux exam really made me realize teachers think students are compilers.
One question asked
What is the difference between Bash shell and shell script? ๐ค
After leaving the exam hall, I asked my friends about it ๐ญ
Bro all of us had the same answer Isnโt Bash shell already a shell script? ๐then everyone started looking at each other like wait....thereโs actually a difference?
At that point we were no longer students we were confused operating systems ๐
Then the final coding question appeared
Using case and while loop to create a calculator ๐ญ
BRO I opened Linux to learn commands like 'ls' and 'cd' , not to become the calculator application itself. I can barely calculate my remainingGPA and now they want me to build a calculator using while and case loops ๐
Honestly if the teacher takes the same exam without preparation, even they might typesudo giveup
After this exam I fully understand why people peacefully choose Windows ๐

Nowadays, Iโve realized that no matter what you do good or bad people will always have something to say behind your back. So donโt waste your energy worrying about others. Focus on yourself, do your best, stay real, and keep moving forward. At the end of the day, your life is yours to live, not theirs.

Todayโs Discrete Mathematics final exam
The exam had 4 parts, but I started from the last part first because it had the highest mark. I used almost all my energy there before my brain completely gave up ๐
Then the teacher came and said:
โFrom the 3 questions, answer only 2.โ
Honestly, even if he didnโt say that, I was already planning to skip the probability question because probability and I were not understanding each other today ๐ญ
So I focused on the other two questions and continued peacefully.
Then there was a graph sketching question. I really tried my best to draw the graph neatly, but my exam paper turned into a drawing book. I kept drawing, erasing, and drawing again until I finally submitted one graph and hoped for the best ๐
When I went back to the first part, some students were already submitting their papers and leaving the room. I looked around and asked myself:
โWhy am I still here?โ ๐ญ
After that I just started answering everything quickly. My exam strategy is simple:
Do what I know, avoid wasting time, and leave the exam hall peacefully ๐
Overall, compared to the mid exam, the final was actually better.

10+ years at Google.
Guardian rank on LeetCode.
3874 problems solved.
2-year streak without missing days.
The biggest thing here is not talent , itโs discipline.
Imagine reaching a high level and still practicing every day like a beginner.
Thatโs what consistency looks like.
Success is not built in one night.
It is built in small daily efforts repeated again and again.
Start small. Stay consistent. Improve daily ๐ช

Tomorrow is DLD exam ๐ญ
I joined Software Engineering to build software,
now Iโm memorizing logic gates, sequential circuits, and K-maps like I accidentally joined hardware engineering ๐
At this point even my brain needs simplification using KMap ๐ญ

About two months ago, I asked my Instagram friends which football club I should support, and most of them told me to support Arsenal. Later, I watched some football matches with my friend, who is a huge Arsenal fan. She always explains everything about football and is really obsessed with Arsenal ๐. She also convinced me with our close friendsโ advice. After watching more matches, today I can officially say I am an Arsenal fan ๐๐ซ COYG ๐ด

Todayโs DLD exam really tested my patience more than my knowledge ๐ญ
The exam had 20 multiple choice questions, but the questions were so confusing ๐ญ
The choices looked correct, incorrect, and emotionally damaging at the same time ๐
Then came fill in the blank and short answer questions.
I just wrote whatever I knew and prayed for partial marks ๐ญ
At this point, when the teacher sees my answer sheet, even he might laugh ๐
Then the workout questions appearedโฆ 3 questions worth 18 marks ๐ญ
The first one was Design and implement a full subtractor using decoders.
BRO I only know how to subtract numbers, not design a whole subtractor circuit ๐ญ๐
The second question was about designing circuits using JK flip-flops.
Honestly, I donโt even remember when I learned that topic
Sometimes I really feel like our teacher thinks we are communication or hardware engineering students ๐ญ
I joined Software Engineering thinking I would focus on coding, but now Iโm fighting logic gates, decoders, and sequential circuits like Iโm building a CPU from scratch ๐
At this point I just want to ask the people who made the curriculum
Who looked at software students and saidโฆ yes, they definitely need maximum hardware suffering too? ๐ญ
Overall todayโs DLD exam was less about logic design and more about emotional damage ๐

Tomorrow is my last final exam of this year ๐ญ
Honestly, this semester felt so long.
Every day was just stress, assignments, quizzes, projects, and finals
Now Iโm sitting here thinking:
What will I even do after tomorrow besides studying?
No more waking up early with exam anxiety. No more opening PDFs and pretending I understand everything the night before
This semester really taught me that university is not only about being smart.
Sometimes itโs about surviving, staying consistent, and continuing even when your brain is already tired.
To everyone taking finals
Do your best, trust your effort, and donโt panic too much. One exam cannot define your whole future.
And after tomorrow please rest
We all deserve one peaceful sleep without thinking about exams โค๏ธ
