Don't let imposter syndrome get you down! It's a common struggle in programming. When your code breaks or you feel stuck, take a break and come back refreshed. Remember, even the best coders face challenges! Embrace a growth mindset , break down problems into smaller tasks, seek help from communities, and celebrate your victories . Stay motivated and don't give up on coding!

I just learnt that these 14 characters written and executed in bash will crash your PC.
It's called a fork bomb. It defines a function : that takes no parameters (). The body of the function {} contains a call to itself : and the output of itself is piped | into another call to itself, started as a background process :&. ; terminates the declaration and : calls the function, executing it. The function will keep multiplying exponentially until your PC cannot handle it anymore.

Becoming a self-taught programmer requires more than just motivation; it demands discipline. In this world, where determination and hard work are deeply ingrained, relying on discipline rather than motivation can be the difference between success and stagnation.
While motivation may fluctuate, discipline remains a constant force that keeps aspiring programmers on track. By establishing a structured routine, allocating dedicated time to learning, and adhering to it, self-taught programmers can ensure consistent progress.
Discipline enables programmers to overcome challenges, such as limited resources or a lack of formal guidance. It fosters a growth mindset, allowing programmers to embrace failures and setbacks as opportunities for learning and improvement.

This picture I absolute love!
The first simulated image of a black hole calculated with an IBM 7040 computer ysing 1960 punch cards, that's about 32,000 bytes and then hand plotted by french astrophysicist Jean Pierre Luminet in 1978
It's a fact that there are some truly genius people out there in the world despite the 99% of us stupid ones.

Did you know the first computer bug was a real insect?
In 1947, engineers working on the Harvard Mark II found a moth stuck in a relay, causing a malfunction. They taped it into the logbook and noted "first actual case of bug being found." That's where the term "debugging" became popular.

The day of Einsteinโs death, while all other photographers and journalists rushed to the hospital to report on his death, only one photographer, Ralph Morse, went to Einsteinโs office. He was allowed to go into the office to take the now iconic picture of Einsteinโs desk as he had left it

localhost is a hostname that points back to your own computer. When you type localhost:3000 in your browser, your request never leaves your machine. It goes to the loopback address 127.0.0.1, where your local server is listening. That's why your React or Node app works on your laptop but nobody else can open your
localhost link. For them, localhost means their own computer, not yours. To let others see your project, deploy it (Vercel, Netlify, Render) or use a tunneling tool.

AI coding tools are having a major reality check right now.
Over 65% of developers use AI to write code, but a huge new survey shows that only 6.6% actually trust it for big decisions.
Here is why: AI is creating a "tidal wave" of automated code that looks fine at first, but is silently breaking large software systems. It is causing messy codebases, duplicating errors, and overwhelming tech teams who have to review it all.
Basically, we got so good at making code instantly that we broke our own systems. The next big dev tools won't be made to write code they will be made to clean up the mess AI leaves behind.
