I learnt this the hard way, and this might be useful for someone here.

When you are in a negotiation or interview for a job, I'd advise you not to tell them the specific rate or amount you expect from them right away.

If you already know about the person or the company and your occupation, do some research and set a specific rate for that work, and you won't be regretting it after you've told your client your rate.

But if you're asked mid-interview or mid-conversation, just tell them you need to do some research, and ask as much as you can about the position and the company.

Good morning everyone.

The fact that you are the one who is responsible for your actions is the fearful and inspiring thing at the same time that is given to us.

This is what I am currently thinking about intelligence and index of intelligence.

What does it mean when said someone is intelligent?

I guess intelligence is the audacity to ask why something is something, to understand why something is something or to answer why something is something.

And we can't be intelligent on everything. Someone can be intelligent at multiple things but can't be on everything.

I understood this while reading the book how to think like a computer scientist.

There is a place it states like "following any type of algorithms, including mathematical algorithms, to solve a problem and solving a problem doesn't show if someone or something(mostly a computer) is intelligent it only shows how can he stick to a set of instructions. And before stumbling upon this, I used to think I need to solve complex problems to show show that I am intelligent.

Then I did a little bit googling and AIing to understand what intelligence is truly.

And we can call someone intelligent if he understands the algorithm, knows the why, can choose the best or create a new algorithm to solve a given problem.

One of my fav quotes:

Stop being patient and start asking yourself:
How can I accomplish my 10 year plan in 6 months?

You will probably fail, but you'll be far ahead of the person who simply accepted it would take 10 years.
