هل ممكن ان يستبدل الذكاء الصناعي الاستشاريين المتخصصين في اختيار المضادات الحيوية؟

لكن على الرغم من أن الذكاء الاصطناعي يبدو واعداً، إلا أن قدرته الحالية على استبدال استشارة المتخصصين في اختيار المضادات الحيوية محدودة.
وجدت دراسة أجريت عام 2025 تقارن توصيات (ChatGPT) بتوصيات خمسة متخصصين في الأمراض المعدية لـ 100 حالة محاكاة، توافقاً ضعيفاً (معامل كابا 0.48). يشير هذا إلى أن أدوات الذكاء الاصطناعي ليست جاهزة بعد لتحل محل استشارة الخبراء في السيناريوهات السريرية المعقدة


Regarding the recommended antibiotic prescription, agreement between ID specialists and ChatGPT was observed in 51/100 cases. The calculated kappa coefficient was 0.48. Agreement on antimicrobial resistance mechanisms was observed in 42/100 cases. The calculated kappa coefficient was 0.39. In a subanalysis according to infectious syndromes and microorganisms, Agreement (range 25 - 80%) and kappa coefficients (range 0.21-0.79) varied.

Trials EAGLE-2 and EAGLE-3

(In two phase 3 noninferiority trials (EAGLE-2 and EAGLE-3), oral gepotidacin was compared to nitrofurantoin for treatment of uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) in nonpregnant girls and women aged >12 years. Eligible patients had at least two symptoms of dysuria, frequency, urgency, or lower abdominal pain, and evidence of urinary nitrite, pyuria, or both. Therapeutic success (defined as symptom resolution and reduction of uropathogens to <103 CFU/mL) occurred in 51% of those assigned to gepotidacin and 47% of those assigned to nitrofurantoin in EAGLE-2, and in 58% of the gepotidacin group and 44% of the nitrofurantoin group in EAGLE-3; gepotidacin was superior to nitrofurantoin in EAGLE-3. The most common adverse event with gepotidacin was diarrhea (~15%).)

showed non-inferiority to Nitrofurantoin, with strong action against resistant E. coli.

لفشل القلب الاحتقاني لدى الأطفال، لم تظهر مجموعة sacubitril/valsartan تفوقًا إحصائيًّا على enalapril، رغم وجود تحسن سريري في كلا المجموعتين على مدى عام من المتابعة.

No significant differences were observed in the global rank primary end point between sacubitril/valsartan and enalapril treatment in pediatric patients with HF with systemic LVSD. There was evidence of a possible health-related quality-of-life advantage of sacubitril/valsartan over enalapril.
