The Solar Ultraviolet Imager (#SUVI) on board @NOAA's #GOESWest (#GOES18) 🛰️ captured this X-class solar flare erupting from the sun over the weekend in multiple wavelengths. Solar flares are classified into five categories (A, B, C, M and X) with X-class flares being the most powerful.
