California's largest active #wildfire continues to burn on Santa Rosa Island this morning. The #SantaRosaIslandFire was sparked early on May 15, 2026, and our @JPSSProgram satellites have been tracking its progress daily as they pass over the Channel Islands. At last report, it has burned nearly 17,000 acres and is currently 26% contained.
