Mount Kenya’s glaciers are disappearing🏔️

Over the past 25 years, glaciers on Africa’s 2nd-highest peak have significantly declined.

Images from 2000 (left) and 2025 (right) reveal how little ice now remains near the summit - a change that threatens water supplies for more than 2 million people in Kenya and Tanzania.
