A Caravan in defense of Water and Life was convened in Mexico by the National Indigenous Congress, since the 22th of March they're travelling through 8 states between the center and South of the country to connect with different indigenous resistances and build collective power.
Today they are entering the state of Guerrero, a territory that has been hit by the violent complicity between the government and organized crime. We are asking for maximum diffusion about this situation, we need to let the Mexican government know that the world eyes are on them.
We echo the demands from the National Indigenous Congress in Mexico, who ask for the safety of the people travelling on the Caravan and the people from the communities receiving them.
