Israel blames Iran for cyberattack that damaged food processor's cooling systems
Iran has been blamed for a cyber attack on the refrigeration system of an Israeli food processor which reprogrammed the controllers and destroyed the compressors.
An Iranian state-directed persona, Cyber Isnaad Front, deployed remote access software, disguised as a Microsoft update.
Refrigeration engineers were called to the plant when temperatures rose in cold rooms and freezers and found that valves had been reconfigured and passwords changed, locking them out of their own equipment.
The motorized valves were pinned permanently open, venting CO2 to the atmosphere, and destroying three compressors.
Cyberattacks on our food systems have been on the rise this year. Grow those gardens...

‼️🇺🇦🏴☠️After massive strikes on warehouses of Ukrainian business giants, prices will rise and delivery will slow, — Telegraph
▪️Since the beginning of 2026, Russia has attacked warehouses and logistics centers of Ukrainian businesses approximately 30 times.
▪️Today, ROZETKA's largest warehouse, Epicenter's ceramics production facility, and others were destroyed, while Nova Poshta regularly loses branches and sorting centers.
▪️Delivery of goods can now take 2–3 days instead of one.
▪️Temporary interruptions in the supply of certain goods are possible in stores.
▪️Companies are abandoning large warehouses and switching to a network of smaller logistics centers.
▪️This restructuring significantly increases business expenses, which will soon be reflected in prices for buyers.
