What Ibrahim Traoré has said about not believing in “democracy” will shock the liberals, but only because they treat the word as sacred rather than material. From a historic class perspective he’s not rejecting people having power, he’s rejecting the lie that the West already provides it.
What passes for “democracy” in countries like United Kingdom or United States is nothing more than managed consent. Political parties share policies and rotate in and out, but the ownership of industry, media, land and finance stays in the hands of the ruling class. Workers are invited to tick a box, but never any real say in governance.
That is not democracy in any meaningful sense; it’s class dictatorship.
Traoré cuts through that illusion. In a country like Burkina Faso, long suffocated by imperialism, plundered resources, and foreign interference, “democracy” has historically meant compliant governments serving imperialism.
Rejecting that model is not authoritarianism that the western media portrays it as; it’s a recognition that a revolution must serve the liberation of the people, not mimic dangerous Western institutions.
Lenin is clear on this: the state is not neutral. There is no abstract “democracy” floating above class interests. There is only rule by one class or another. The question is simple — who holds power, and in whose interests is it exercised?
The West lectures the world about democracy while crushing any system that threatens capitalist dominance. Traoré is exposing that contradiction. Real democracy isn’t a ballot paper under capitalism, it’s the working class holding power, controlling production, and shaping society in its own interests.

🇪🇺🇺🇦⚔️🇷🇺 UKRAINIAN CORRUPTION RUNS DEEP IN THE EUROPEAN UNION
According to an employee from a major Romanian cash-in-transit company, Ukraine has been moving billions of euros and dollars in physical cash payments through Romania endlessly via truck transport since the first day of the war.
The testimony came from December 2025. Months later on March 6th, Hungary investigated cash transports in their own country, with €1.3 billion having flown through Hungary in just two months. The Hungarian authorities seized as many as $75 million and 9 kilograms of gold.
An SBU general named Gennady Kuznetsov was detained in Hungary together with the Oschadbank cash-in-transit personnel on charges of money laundering. He is the former chief of staff of the SBU’s Antiterrorist Center and is linked to the the agency’s "Alpha" special operations unit in 2014–2015.
He had previously been convicted in February 2011 in the District Court of Kiev for negligent attitude toward military service, which is a corruption-related offense. He had also been dismissed from the SBU twice for corruption.
In 2019–2020, investigations showed that Kuznetsov was a close associate of Andrei Yermak, Zelensky’s former Chief of Staff who directed efforts to rid Ukraine’s anti-corruption bodies of its powers as he was engaging in Timur Mindich’s kickback networks in the Ukrainian energy and defense sectors.
Publications from that period accused them of turning prisoner exchanges into a profitable business, involving ransoms, kickbacks and other personal enrichment schemes.
Furthermore, Ukraine is also confirmed to have been receiving aid in cash from Raffeisen Bank in Vienna while EU citizens have a limit on how much they can withdraw from the ATM or pay in cash. Ursula von der Leyen is credibly accused by MEPs of covering up Zelensky’s corruption schemes.
All this does is further reveal just how widespread and deep the Ukrainian money laundering scheme runs within in the European Union. Billions of dollars in cash was being stolen through EU banks and transferred to the Ukrainian Nazi regime for personal enrichment.

The U.S. has been encircling Iran ever since they lost their grip on it's resources after the revolution of 1979. This has all led up to the recent escalations which, much like the tactic NATO used in Ukraine, have had more of a negative effect on the West than its intended target.
The imperialists have murdered Iran’s, and Islam’s, spiritual leader, Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, bombed schools and attacked civilians. Iran has answered this directly systematically taken out their infrastructure, severely weakening imperialist power in the region.
See, while the U.S. has been making plans, the Iranians have not been sitting on their hands. They have been meticulously preparing for a conflict they knew they would have to fight sooner rather than later.
Now the U.S. is on the back foot as the war is not going in their favour, and they cannot elicit support for imperialist endeavours from the workers of the world. Donald Trump has now announced a two-week ceasefire, which feels more like a retreat.
With this air of invincibility shattered, Israel must now be very worried about that "sea of hostile Arabism".

On the morning of Thursday 9 April, the police again came to the home of Dr Ranjeet Brar, general secretary of the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist-Leninist), to arrest him for making a political speech outside the US embassy (see video attached), on charges of “antisemitism”.
Not only have the police arrested him, they arranged to have him suspended from his work as an NHS surgeon for at least two weeks – no doubt with a view to further suspension and ultimately with the aim of depriving him of work.
