Obesity is a problem caused by capitalism through cheap, unhealthy food combined with its promotion of staying indoors, or making it inconvenient to walk when you need to go out. Mounjaro is a capitalist solution to this problem (through Eli Lilly of big pharma)
People can’t afford fish to go with their chips as commercial fisheries tend to overfish one species, raising its price.
Advertisers are paid a lot of money to convince people to eat whatever makes money.
If we had a planned economy, we’d grow enough potatoes. If people didn’t need or want potatoes, farmland would be used to grow other crops. There wouldn’t be private companies such as McCains dictating how many spuds we need.
Healthy eating isn’t this farmers problem, capitalism is.

Don’t be fooled by this catchy phrase; the earth is not flat and there is no ‘Epstein class’.
Just the same old degenerate exploiters whose power is teetering and who will use every dirty trick to maintain the rule of their inherently corrupt, exploitative, supremacist and genocidal capitalist-imperialist system.

The Communists
Epstein class, my arse
Depravity, decadence and immorality inevitably characterise the tiny ruling class that now exploits the vast mass of humanity to maintain its own wealth and power.

🇺🇸Trump's signature will replace the U.S. Treasurer's on dollar banknotes, a tradition dating back to 1861, to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence.
The dollar is losing value, but the bills will have his name on them.

The imperialists do not want economically strong and united countries. They want despair and disarray.
The Sykes-Picot agreement was just that. A mashup of opposing cultures to create more chaos while finance capital can continue to plunder.

The prices for the upcoming Football World Cup are absolutely disgusting.
To add insult to injury the FIFA President Gianni Infantino has said that if a "£7,000 ticket is out of your price range you should reconsider your life choices."
Games gone.

What Ibrahim Traoré has said about not believing in “democracy” will shock the liberals, but only because they treat the word as sacred rather than material. From a historic class perspective he’s not rejecting people having power, he’s rejecting the lie that the West already provides it.
What passes for “democracy” in countries like United Kingdom or United States is nothing more than managed consent. Political parties share policies and rotate in and out, but the ownership of industry, media, land and finance stays in the hands of the ruling class. Workers are invited to tick a box, but never any real say in governance.
That is not democracy in any meaningful sense; it’s class dictatorship.
Traoré cuts through that illusion. In a country like Burkina Faso, long suffocated by imperialism, plundered resources, and foreign interference, “democracy” has historically meant compliant governments serving imperialism.
Rejecting that model is not authoritarianism that the western media portrays it as; it’s a recognition that a revolution must serve the liberation of the people, not mimic dangerous Western institutions.
Lenin is clear on this: the state is not neutral. There is no abstract “democracy” floating above class interests. There is only rule by one class or another. The question is simple — who holds power, and in whose interests is it exercised?
The West lectures the world about democracy while crushing any system that threatens capitalist dominance. Traoré is exposing that contradiction. Real democracy isn’t a ballot paper under capitalism, it’s the working class holding power, controlling production, and shaping society in its own interests.

"In capitalist society, providing it develops under the most favourable conditions, we have a more or less complete democracy in the democratic republic. But this democracy is always hemmed in by the narrow limits set by capitalist exploitation, and consequently always remains, in effect, a democracy for the minority, only for the propertied classes, only for the rich. Freedom in capitalist society always remains about the same as it was in the ancient Greek republics: freedom for the slave-owners."- Lenin, State and Revolution.
