Trump is open to easing sanctions and releasing frozen Iranian funds in exchange for “concrete progress” on nuclear issues, a U.S. official told CNN.

U.S. officials say talks through mediators have been “positive and constructive,” and Iran has shown flexibility on nuclear issues, but the two sides remain divided over the timing of commitments.
