Riyadh schools have switched to remote learning for a week on orders from Saudi authorities, with no official reason given.

The decision came a day after Saudi air defenses intercepted two Houthi drones targeting Riyadh, amid escalating Houthi attacks on the Kingdom.

Two separate school messages seen by AFP said: “We have just been informed by Saudi authorities that schools must remain closed all week.”
