I do not want a military conflict between NATO and Russia, and I will do everything to ensure that Slovakia is not dragged into any irresponsible military adventure.

Under my government, nobody will send Slovak soldiers outside the territory of Slovakia under some fabricated pretext to fight against Russia or any other country.

I have no right to question this figure, although deliberately exaggerating the scale of human losses could serve as a factor in pushing the Western world to provide even more military and financial assistance to Ukraine.

Estonia says it is preparing for possible security risks if Russia declares a general mobilization, including the option of immediately closing its border.

Prime Minister Kristen Michal said Russia may eventually need further measures to sustain the war, claiming “30,000 to 40,000 men are killed or wounded every month.”

If mobilization changes Estonia’s threat assessment, Michal said: “The border can also be closed immediately.” He added that Estonia has the capability to shut border crossings “very quickly.”

RBC-Ukraine sources say the Pelican used in the Moscow attack is actually a fixed-wing drone, not the FP-7 ballistic missile as many outlets assumed.
