Polish PM Donald Tusk:
We are in the anti-ballistic coalition with Ukraine. As of today, Poland is part of this great project.
During talks with President Zelensky, we established the framework for this cooperation.
This will mean much safer European skies, and therefore a safer Polish sky as well.

Boris Johnson on Russia:
Russiaโs problem is that it cannot let go of its empire. The British had the biggest empire the world had ever seen. At one point it was roughly seven times the size of the Roman Empire โ and we gave it up.
The Russians need to let Ukraine go. It is like that old piece of relationship advice: if you love someone, let them go. If they come back, theyโre yours. If they donโt, they never were.
They have to let Ukraine go. The age of empires is over.

Boris Johnson:
The British and the Russians are two great peoples, two great countries. We fought side by side in the Second World War, and we understand that we can have common interests.
But present-day Russia is behaving terribly. Many years ago, I tried to improve relations between Britain and Russia. And where did that get us? Nowhere.
They used Novichok in Britain. An innocent British citizen died. It is disgusting and revolting.

Boris Johnson:
We constantly think that if Putin stops, he will immediately be removed.
But he can simply write another one of his stupid historical essays and say, "I have found some new old documents from Russian history about which lands are actually the historical lands of Russia."
And it turns out, my friends, that they are exactly the territories we currently control. Then he can say, "Thatโs it. We have accomplished the mission. There are no more Nazis," and so on.
That is what he needs to do โ and then leave.

Boris Johnson:
I think the whole logic that Russia somehow lost something because of Ukrainian independence is completely wrong. What is bad for Russia about having a free and prosperous neighbor?
But there is an answer as to why it matters specifically to Putin. Putin wants to preserve a particular political model. He does not want democracy, and Ukraine presents an alternative future for Russia: a free country, a free press, a pluralistic society, free media.
He hates that. That is the problem. The threat to his ideology is not Ukraine as such, but a free Ukraine.
If Russia wanted to live with Ukraine in peace and harmony, both countries would prosper.

Ukrainian forces are now killing or wounding more Russian soldiers each month than Russia is mobilizing each month, which should be something that worries those in the Kremlin considerably.

There are some countries in the Middle East, for example, that have bought interceptors for years. Yes, theyโre under pressure from Iran.
Yes, they need to keep a substantial number, but some of those, perhaps in return for help from Ukraine to deal with some of the issues again with Iran or the Houthis in Yemen, could in fact loan them.

There are reports โ I talked to specific corps commanders who said they have cases in which theyโve actually captured a Russian soldier who was in the military less than two weeks.
That includes taking the oath, drawing your equipment, being transported to the front. Thereโs not much training in there. Thereโs certainly no integration into the unit.
