A 2026 Annenberg Constitution Day Civics Survey found that 35% of U.S. adults could not name all three branches of government โ executive, legislative and judicial.
While 65% identified all three branches, others named only one or two or none.
Americans also struggled with First Amendment knowledge, with only 9% able to name all five protected rights and 24% unable to name any.
The survey included 1,034 U.S. adults from Aug. 6โ9, with a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.

Lukashenko on Iran:
Iran. Why did the Americans have to fight against the successors of the Persians? They have never kneeled before anyone.
Donโt Americans know this history? They do. They say that back in the 1970s Iranians trashed the embassy of the United States of America.
So this is the response. Well then, if during World War II nearly 30 million people of ours died, should we once again rush to the West and tear apart Germans once again? No.
They have decided to start a war. But it was not the reason. Iranโs riches are. A battle is in progress now.

In 1939, without any wars, the Red Army "liberated" Western Belarus and Western Ukraine.
The Soviet troops reclaimed what belonged to Belarusians and to the huge country where we lived.
We reclaimed that. We did not capture Polish lands.

American patents are nothing but Chinese instruction manuals.

Had they succeeded, we would have faced the very same situation that is currently unfolding in Ukraine.
What happened in Ukraine, a rich, powerful, and strong country, would have happened to us as well.

Anduril founder Palmer Luckey:
Deterrence for Taiwan cannot depend on convincing party leadership that they are physically incapable of getting forces into Taiwan.
The real objective is to convince Beijing that getting here is not victory.
What looks like the end of an invasion plan from the outside is actually the beginning of a fight that could continue for years or even decades.
Taiwan's job is to force Beijing into exactly that calculation, into understanding that the cost of winning makes it impossible to win.

This is a war that may be winnable, but it is not worth winning.
The CCP has spent years practicing how to win without fighting because they are so afraid of what the cost would be.
The answer to their dilemma is to make sure there's no version of their plans militarily, economically, socially, culturally in which they can gain an easy victory.

This is not a hopeless fight. Nobody should believe that.
Everyone who says that has a reason to believe it. Many of them are funded by your adversaries.
If they weren't worried about your ability to put up a fight, they wouldn't be taking over Hollywood and putting movies about how they're impossibly powerful.

They say, "Lukashenko is hanging on to power with all his might."
I am already as fed up with this power as possible.
There is only one question: are you capable of taking the country today and keeping it? If you are, do it tomorrow.
Honestly speaking, I cannot give a positive answer to this question for now. Donโt take offense.

And perhaps there will be a way that the people can be better prepared, armed, and be able to truly resist what will be an incredibly even more weakened Iranian government.

The Lebanese realized Israel does not want to annex one meter of Lebanese property.
They donโt want to be there. They want to go home. Theyโre reservists. Theyโre exhausted. They want to be back with their families.
But theyโre not going to abandon the people in the northern part of Israel to continued rocket, missile and drone attacks.
Theyโre going to stay until the LAF is strong enough to be the securing force.

The Mecca Alliance is not being threatened by Israel. Israel has no intention of attacking Tรผrkiye, Saudi Arabia or Pakistan. And the U.S. has no ambitions to go into these countries.
So whatever agreement they are making, they clearly believe that it is in their best interest. Perhaps itโs to protect against the Houthis or terrorist organizations.
I never certainly saw or heard any anxiety in Washington that, "Oh my gosh, this is a terrible thing." I donโt think that anyone saw it that way.

Just suppose, for example, that on one day there was an invasion from Tijuana into San Diego and 40,000 people in San Diego were not just murdered โ they were massacred.
They were butchered in ways that are indescribable and unspeakable, and then 10,000 additional Americans were taken hostage, starved, beaten, raped, kept in dark tunnels for two years.
Ask ourselves as Americans, what would we do? How would we respond?

I can say that there is a good military-to-military relationship. Thereโs a good intel-to-intel [relationship], and everyone would benefit.

But an Intercept analysis of tax records tells a different story.
Since 2006, Kraft's foundation donated $196K to Friends of the IDF (earmarked for promoting education for young Jewish soldiers), $3M through his LLC to AIPAC's super PAC (which targets pro-Palestine candidates), and $20M to found an organization that explicitly opposes the BDS movement.
He's also funded CAMERA ($63.5K), a group that calls evidence of genocide in Gaza "the Gaza GenoLie," and the Investigative Project on Terrorism ($50K), which CAIR considers part of the U.S. Islamophobia network.
Netanyahu himself once called Kraft Israel's "most loyal friend."
None of these groups appear to create jobs or dialogue for Palestinians, as Kraft claims.
He didn't disclose which organizations would receive his $2M pledge.
