So I don’t discard at all people’s concerns about it, but the closer you look, the sort of trade-offs, the positives look quite a bit larger than the negatives.

The U.S. has approved visas for Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and other officials to attend next week’s UN General Assembly meetings in New York despite the two countries being locked in a six-month-long war.

The State Department said Iran’s delegation will face travel restrictions and limits on luxury purchases.

No final decision has been made, with recommendations expected in November.
