Iranโ€™s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi:

How much time does the Jordanian Foreign Minister believe Iran should wait before responding to an aggressor that respects neither Arab sovereignty nor Iranian sovereignty?

And is he truly unaware that Arab airspace, lands, and waters were used in the initial American attacks that resulted in the killing of innocent Iranians?

Denmark expects to send its first migrants to a return hub outside the EU by 2027, alongside Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Greece.

This follows the European Parliament's approval in June of a migration policy overhaul allowing member states to set up offshore detention centers and speed up deportations.

The Council of Europe warned in July that such return-hub arrangements pose "considerable human rights risks," including ill-treatment and arbitrary detention.

Finland has launched Europeโ€™s largest civil defense exercise since World War II, with more than 2,000 people practicing how to survive missile attacks, cyberattacks and disruptions to power and water.

In Kuopio, residents are being trained inside underground shelters, including a cave capable of housing 7,000 people.

Finland is also drawing lessons from Ukraine, where civilians often have only minutes to reach shelter during Russian attacks.

A Russia sanctions bill that passed the Senate 86โ€“11 is now stalled in the House, with little chance of a vote before the November midterms.

Chinese rare-earth suppliers are halting some shipments to U.S. companies despite having export licenses, fearing punishment from Beijing amid rising U.S.-China tensions.

The delays are keeping critical material supplies tight and prices near record highs, affecting defense, semiconductor, aerospace and energy industries.

Some U.S. firms have waited more than six months for licenses, with the issue likely to feature in talks ahead of Xi Jinpingโ€™s September 24 visit to Washington.

Mazloum Abdi, Adviser to Syrian Presidency & former SDF chief:

There are currently talks between Syria and Israel. I believe tensions are currently lower, and that is a good thing.

The important thing is for tensions to remain low until the problems are resolved.

Israel is insisting on remaining in the areas it has entered. It is putting forward certain conditions for withdrawing.

These are difficult conditions to fulfill. It appears that this will continue for quite a long time, until a permanent solution is found.

Germany's Adidas is facing boycott calls after featuring IDF veteran Shalev Biton โ€” who lost his left leg in a 2021 Gaza โ€” as the face of its single-shoe service in Israel.

The service lets amputees buy one shoe at half price.

Thousands of Palestinians have lost limbs since October 2023.

The backlash also revives Adidas's 2024 decision to drop Bella Hadid from a campaign after Israeli pressure, framing it as a double standard.

Adidas hasn't responded publicly.
