The attack in Kuhestak on Sept. 1 has renewed concerns over civilian casualties in the U.S.-Iran conflict.

Experts said the damage pattern was consistent with a bomb hitting the home directly, rather than debris from another target or an Iranian air defense missile. Two experts said the munition was likely a U.S. 500-pound air-dropped weapon.
