Zelensky on India:

Today, I spoke with a representative of India – India’s Minister of External Affairs visited Ukraine.

India’s position is clear: there must be an end to the war, not Putin’s attempts to make this war endless.

Zelensky:

It is important that airlines using Russian airspace continue to pay attention to the real situation and the real danger.

Today, there are new signals from airlines on this, and we confirm that because of Russia’s war, Russian skies have become a space for drones, not civilian aircraft.

Drones are a concrete reality, unlike the words of Russian officials who are trying to reassure airlines.

Wreckage of Chinese-made CH-95 drone was filmed near Assosa in western Ethiopia, close to the Sudan border today.

The CH-95 is operated by Sudan's RSF terror group, backed by UAE.

The crash site is near Assosa Airport, where analysts have tracked suspected UAV-related activity and logistics linked to RSF cross-border operations.

CH-95s have been lost in growing numbers inside Sudan since June 2026, often shot down by Sudanese Akıncı drones.

Today, the Russians struck a Coca-Cola plant with a drone.

A clear Russian signal to America – the Russians cannot possibly be unaware that this is an American company.

Canadian PM Mark Carney on Russia:

I’ve met Vladimir Putin in the past. Multiple times. He understands — he only understands strength and directness.

And the message would be simple: Get out of Ukraine. Give back all of Ukraine to Ukraine.

End this war, which is killing more than 30,000 of your people every single month.

Canadian PM Mark Carney:

Two weeks ago, we made the right decision to suspend our trade negotiations with the United States.

We couldn’t accept what they’d offered. We wouldn’t give what they’d asked.

As a result, the U.S. has imposed new tariffs designed to hurt and divide us.

Now, that’s a miscalculation, because Canadians will always take care of each other.

And it’s a miscalculation because we have everything we need to build the country we want. We have the reserves. We have the resilience. And we have the right plan.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis:

It is inconceivable for there to be an active threat of war and a challenge to Greek sovereignty by a country that aspires to improve its relations with the European Union.

Türkiye’s European path, which we want to strengthen, cannot but go hand in hand with building good-neighborly relations with Greece.

I will say it again: my country is a peaceful country that poses a threat to no one.

But it will not accept instructions from anyone on how it should strengthen its defenses.

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis:

The financing of the defense of every inch of Europe must be unified.

SAFE was an important initiative and moved in the right direction.

But we need more, and we also need to choose our partners very carefully.

Let me remind you that a condition for the participation of third countries in the program was, and remains, that the security and defense interests of the member states must not be harmed.

The U.S. Navy is facing a serious logistics problem in the Middle East.

Around 20 ships carrying roughly 20,000 sailors and Marines need more than 420,000 meals and about eight million gallons of fuel every week.

The situation became much harder after Iran destroyed a key Navy logistics base in Bahrain and made other nearby ports too dangerous to use.

Supply ships now have to travel about 2,200 miles to Diego Garcia, or even farther to Singapore, before returning to the fleet.

NEW: German industrial bosses want workers back to 40 hours a week without extra pay — effectively a 13% cut in hourly labor costs.

The 35-hour week in metals and auto was won by IG Metall after a seven-week strike in 1984 and has been the norm since 1995.

Now with German manufacturing over 15% below its 2017 peak, labor costs at €49.50 an hour (47% above the EU average), and VW considering plant closures, executives at Mercedes-Benz, Stihl, and others are openly calling the old deal unaffordable.

For the first time in recorded history, people 65 and older outnumber children 5 and under worldwide — 852 million versus fewer.

By 2060, the 65+ population hits 2 billion, accounting for 55% of all global population growth.

The driver is simple: fertility has collapsed below replacement in countries representing 71% of the world's population, up from 45% a decade ago.

South Korea is projected to be the oldest country by 2060 with 41% over 65.

The world's age pyramid is flattening into a column.

Trump hosted Hasidic rebbes and a Litvish rosh yeshiva in the Oval Office for a pre-Rosh Hashanah meeting — described as the first such gathering in over 50 years.

Both rival Satmar brothers attended and exchanged greetings for the first time in decades.

Trump asked if they were twins.

The guest list included leaders of Satmar, Skver, Bobov, Vizhnitz, and Lakewood's Beth Medrash Govoha.

Expected topics included defending Haredi educational independence from New York state oversight.

The Satmar rebbe reportedly planned to raise Israel's yeshiva draft.

The invite drew criticism from pro-Israel Trump allies given Satmar's anti-Zionist stance.
