CBS's 60 Minutes reportedly shelved an investigation into Jeffrey Epstein's banking network after correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi was fired during the show's leadership shake-up following Bari Weiss's takeover.
The report focused on Senator Ron Wyden's findings that Deutsche Bank, JPMorgan Chase, and Bank of America processed hundreds of millions of dollars in suspicious Epstein-linked transactions.
CBS denies suppressing the story, saying it wasn't finished.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino is facing a major leadership crisis after abandoning a controversial proposal to sell a 20% stake in FIFA's World Cup commercial rights business to private investors for $4.2 billion.
Infantino is now meeting top officials in Morocco to secure support ahead of FIFA's presidential election in March 2027.

Vladimir Tkachuk, CEO of Uraldronzavod and creator of Russia's Upyr FPV attack drones, was seriously wounded in an assassination attempt near Yekaterinburg.
An explosive device planted under his Mercedes detonated, destroying the car.
His driver/bodyguard was killed, and Tkachuk was left seriously injured and in intensive care.
The Upyr project began as a donation-funded "people's drone" effort tied to his pro-war online community.
That community centers on his Telegram channel "Povernutye na voyne" ("Turned on the War"), which has hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
