The U.S. is continuing talks to let Ukraine produce Patriot interceptor missiles or components, despite Trump's recent public doubts about such a deal.

Options include manufacturing parts in Ukraine for final assembly in Germany, but any agreement would take at least a year before delivering new missiles, leaving Ukraine reliant on allied supplies in the short term.
