The EU has approved its 21st sanctions package against Russia after Greece agreed to lift its veto in exchange for an exemption allowing Greek companies to continue transporting Russian LNG to non-EU customers under pre-2022 contracts.
The package keeps the Russian oil price cap at $44 per barrel for another year and expands sanctions to include more shadow fleet vessels, Russian banks, crypto and oil-trading platforms, metals, and over 250 individuals and companies.
Several proposed measures were watered down during negotiations, including dropping restrictions on Russian fish imports, removing Patriarch Kirill and Lukoil founder Vagit Alekperov from the sanctions list, and scaling back a proposed Schengen entry ban for Russian soldiers.

A YouGov survey found that only 6% of Britons would volunteer to fight if the UK faced an invasion, while 14% would serve if called up.
Around 29% believe the UK could face a full-scale military attack within the next decade, but 51% think it's unlikely.
Most respondents (53%) lack confidence in the UK's military, and 57% believe the government spends too little on defense, though few support raising taxes, cutting public services, or borrowing to fund higher defense spending.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang on Chinese AI models:
These Chinese models are excellent. Open-source models that are excellent should be used.
The market misunderstood the impact of DeepSeek the first time. It's misunderstood the impact of Kimi again this time.
Whenever there's more use, you'll have to sell a lot more Nvidia computers, we'll have to build more data centers. We'll have more services.
The technology will diffuse into more industries, which leads to great growth.

Q: Should American companies be allowed to use Chinese AI models?
Jensen Huang: Absolutely. There's a misconception that somehow there are backdoors, that they're somehow connected to China in some way.
You download the models, you can fine-tune them, you can enhance them, you can guardrail them as you desire.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang on AI:
The fact that this is going to be the end of humanityโit's complete nonsense. The fact that this is going to destroy half of the American jobsโit's complete nonsense.
AI will increase productivity. When productivity is increased, it creates opportunities.
Over the history of technology, society has become more productive as a result of technology. It has created more jobs, not less.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang on the American dream:
Anything's possible in the United States. You know, there's a reason why it's called the American Dream.
If you're willing to work hard, if you're willing to take chances and go do something unique, the environment, the conditions, the support, the people, the brilliance that's all around us makes it possible.
And I think this is the land of dreams.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang on Trump:
He's smart. He remembers everything. Goodness gracious. He sure knows numbers.
He's the only president that has ever remembered H20, H200. NVIDIA's Blackwell. He knows our next generation, Rubin. He has just an amazing memory.
He wants the United States to be re-industrialized.
He is single-mindedly about creating jobs. He's single-mindedly about reshaping the American economy and the labor workforce.

Trump:
The Civil Nuclear Deal (There will be no enrichment of material!) being made between the United States Department of Energy and Saudi Arabia, which pertains only to non-military use such as the ones that Iran and UAE (and others) already have, will be approved, but is totally subject to Saudi Arabia joining the very respected and successful Abraham Accords.
The United States is not opposed to Civil (Non-Enriched) Nuclear Facilities.
Thank you for your attention to this matter!
