Children have committed suicide. Our children go through unlimited stress, and then at the last minute they're told that the paper has leaked, so there's a legitimate problem. It is now a very deep problem in this country.

152 paper leaks have taken place over the last decade. If you do the math, that's approximately one every month.

Every month, lots of students are told, "All the stress you went through—you have to go through it again." And after that, we really don't care. We don't care if there's a re-exam.

7.5 crore (75 million) students and their families have been affected by this. These are middle-class and poor families. They put their hard-earned money into this.

And the best part of this is: zero convictions in the last ten years. One hundred and fifty-two paper leaks have taken place, and zero convictions.

It's not just that the system is rigged. The system is unaffordable. And this is a statistic that everybody knows, but somehow the Government of India doesn't.

One exam—the NEET exam—costs families almost the same amount of money as our entire national education budget.

Nothing that China has done, has in any way changed the trajectory of what you're seeing in terms of the conflicts we're having with Iran.

And in fact, in some cases, they've actually been quite cooperative with regards to what they potentially could have done but didn't do.

I think the Chinese—and I'll let them tell you—but I don't think they're big fans of what Iran is trying to do in the Straits.

In fact, they've said so publicly, that they oppose tolling or any sort of restraint on freedom of navigation in the Straits.

Zohran Mamdani on Gaza:

Yesterday I was on Staten Island for a meeting with faith leaders and a young man from Gaza attended that meeting as part of an organization that houses refugees on Staten Island. He did not have one of his arms.

He was one of the many children that have been maimed by this genocide. I think that is quite serious. I think there are tens of thousands, I do not think, I know there are tens of thousands of children who have been maimed, who have been forced to undergo operations without anesthesia.

And when we speak about the more than 70,000 Palestinians that have been killed, we know that likely that number is even higher, and yet we do not even know what it reaches.

And also we know that it is not a faraway issue. I have met Palestinian New Yorkers who have told me how they've spent decades in this city, building their lives, saving money to send it back home to build a home in the village they grew up in, only to see it obliterated in an instant with an Israeli airstrike.

And then that same older New Yorker tells me of how his son called him and begged him to send him money for food, that his grandchild was starving, and that he couldn't do anything about it.

And so I say that this is something that has not only offended the conscience, the morals, the mere humanity of so many New Yorkers, but it has also ripped apart the lives of many who have been personally affected by it as well.
