During her visit, I asked Darline, for the Good of our Nation, to run for the U.S. Senate in the Special Republican Primary on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. I hope Darline does this, in that there would be nobody better to honor the legacy of her beloved brother, Lindsey.

Darline, who comes from an absolutely incredible family, has been a WINNER all of her life and, should she accept, has my Complete and Total Endorsement in the Special Election for U.S. Senate in South Carolina — SHE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN. RUN, DARLINE, RUN!

Trump:

We are holding Canada responsible for the fact that they are not properly maintaining their Forests, and Brush therein, and the United States is being unnecessarily invaded by filthy, polluted, and unhealthy air, the quality of which is dangerous, and totally unacceptable!

I will call the Prime Minister during the day to find out what they are going to do about it. The cost is incalculable!

Canada has refused to engage in basic Forest Management and Debris Removal, knowing that such refusal will lead to exactly this result. This is Willful Negligence, and becoming a yearly occurrence, costing the United States Billions of Dollars, which cost of this pollution must of necessity be added to the TARIFFS Canada is currently paying.

CENTCOM:

CENTCOM launched a round of strikes against Iran at 3 p.m. ET today for the seventh consecutive night.

The strikes are designed to continue degrading Iranian military capabilities at the Commander in Chief's direction.

Kuwait says it intercepted Iranian ballistic missiles and drones entering its airspace.

Iranian drone strikes hit military facilities and critical infrastructure, including a power and water desalination plant, causing fires, damage to power generation units, and injuring several soldiers.

Earlier today, Iran's army said it fired shore-to-sea cruise missiles at a U.S. naval vessel in the northern Indian Ocean and that the ship retreated out of range.

I think perhaps they made a mistake when they made him a defensive player. They took their best player and put him in defense.

The IRGC says two oil tankers exploded and caught fire after entering a mined route south of the Strait of Hormuz.
