Netanyahu on Tรผrkiye:

Tรผrkiye didn't lift a finger to help you in Iran.

We did. We fought next to your great soldiers.

Sami Hamdi | Geopolitical Analyst | The International Interest:

We forget how rapidly the world changes. Assad was supposed to be there forever. Syria today is on a different path - toward rebuilding.

Ben Ali of Tunisia was supposed to be there forever but a street vendor burned himself in protest & sparked an Arab Spring that toppled regimes across the region.

The outcomes weren't always what people hoped for. But the dictators fell - when nobody thought they would.

The natural progression of history is that the oppressed always wins. Even when you least expect it.

In 1991 Mladiฤ‡ & Karadลพiฤ‡ said there will be no Muslims left by the end of the war. But they ended up in the Hague.

Muslims of Bosnia are still there today, rebuilding & returning to ethnically cleansed areas, surviving a genocide against all odds.

You don't predict the future by who holds power today. You predict it by one simple metric: injustice doesn't last.

Israel tried to colonize Palestine for 78 years - with military superiority, British then American backing, superior technology.

But it still hasn't taken all of Palestine & is stuck in existential crisis, losing support because Palestinians keep standing in the way.

The real measure of power is not having weapons, but a people's willingness to sacrifice.

They sacrificed in Algeria - it became free. They sacrificed in Egypt - it became free. They are sacrificing in Palestine & it is destined to be free.

We have the press. They don't want to know anything about soccer/football. They won't be asking any questions on that.

Nobody cares about that, right?

Tรผrkiye has one of the biggest armed forces in NATO, well trained.

Particularly in the last 5โ€“10 years, you have rapidly developed your defense industrial base. You now have about 3,000 companies turning out the defense industrial output that we need to defend ourselves.

Ankara, Istanbul, Tรผrkiye as a whole is really important. Your place on the map is important. Your leadership in NATO is important. The fact that you organized this summit in Ankara is evidence of that.
