Trump went after this agreement from the minute he got into the campaign.

I mean, this was sort of an Obama accomplishment—something President Obama would do.

We expect your close interest and support, as parliamentarians, for Türkiye's inclusion in the defense and security initiatives announced by the European Union.

Excluding the capacity Türkiye possesses in the defense field due to narrow political interests is of no benefit to anyone.

We must form, across the alliance, a security and defense network extending from Texas to Ankara — without any ifs or buts.
