NEW: Iran has formally protested to the U.S. over Trump's recent threats and is considering its response.

Tehran says any threats violate Clause 1 of the reported agreement, which requires the U.S. to refrain from threats, making Trump's remarks a serious breach of the understanding.

Hezbollah Leader Naim Qassem:

The enemies attempted to impose a unilateral definition of a ceasefire in Lebanon that would prevent Hezbollah from firing while preserving Israel’s freedom to attack and advance wherever it wished.

The Resistance considers this approach a continuation of aggression and will never accept it.

A ceasefire must begin with Israel. If the Israeli regime genuinely accepts and adheres to it, the Resistance will also pursue the path of peace.

Hezbollah Leader Naim Qassem:

The Lebanese government should learn from Iran in negotiations, because Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz in support of Lebanon.

Instead of pleading with the enemy, the Lebanese government should act independently, relying on its own capabilities and on Iran’s support—which even extended to closing the Strait of Hormuz for Lebanon.
