But you won't have the strait open for months. Uh, if we do the bombing, you know, a lot of people are going to be killed. Who wants to do that? I don't.

And we'll get—we'll have a signed document that's actually stronger than doing the bombing.

Trump:

It was certainly amazing. It was, I think, mostly cheers. It was loud and it was very enthusiastic.

Reporter: Did you ask Netanyahu not to hit back?

Trump: No, I said do what's right, but I want you to stop as quickly as you can because they have to stop.

It had to do with Lebanon and it has to stop. We want to get it finished.

Trump on Iran:

You're really going to win it over the next two weeks when we declare total victory.

It'll be a total victory. It'll happen very soon.

Trump:

You remember Venezuela just a short time ago, a one-day war.

We took it over and the relationship's been very good and we've taken billions and billions of dollars worth of oil.

We paid for the cost of that war many times over.

JD Vance admits:

The Israelis and the United States have a lot of shared interests, but we also have some situations where our interests diverge.

The Iranians don't want this war to continue. It's not in their best interest.

The U.S. Pentagon has expanded its list of Chinese companies it believes are linked to or support China's military, adding major firms such as Alibaba, Baidu, BYD, and Nio.

While inclusion on the list does not amount to sanctions, it carries significant consequences.

Under U.S. law, the Defense Department will soon be prohibited from purchasing products or services from these companies, either directly or through third parties.

A hidden camera was discovered in a UK government building in Whitehall, London.

The find raised espionage concerns because officials there had worked on approving China's new London embassy.

Security services are investigating who placed the device and whether any information was collected.

There is no evidence so far that China, Russia, or any other country was involved.

The Pentagon disclosed in March that elements of the 82nd Airborne were deploying to the Middle East, but not that some were headed to Israel.

An Army deployment order obtained by Ken Klippenstein shows troops from the 2nd Battalion, 501st Infantry Regiment were sent to Israel on temporary duty in April 2026.

A military source says the deployment is linked to new U.S.-Israeli contingency plans involving potential operations against Iran, including seizing Kharg Island.

The 82nd Airborne, the Army’s rapid-response force, is trained for airborne assaults and "forced entry" missions.

Publicly, the Pentagon only said the troops were deploying to CENTCOM, leading many to assume they were headed to bases in Kuwait or Qatar. Officials never acknowledged the Israel deployment.

Hungary’s Parliament has approved major salary cuts for the Prime Minister, ministers, parliamentary leaders, and MPs.

Prime Minister Péter Magyar’s monthly gross salary will fall from HUF 7.8 million (€21,667) to HUF 3.8 million (€10,556), a reduction of more than 50%.

Most other senior officials and MPs will see their salaries cut by 40%.
