The Pentagon has raised Israel's counterintelligence threat level to its highest category, citing concerns that Israeli intelligence services are stepping up efforts to gather information on senior U.S. officials and internal deliberations over the Middle East, particularly the war with Iran.

The move comes amid growing tensions between the Trump administration and the Israeli government over how to handle Iran and regional military operations.

Israel has denied the allegations, calling them completely false, while the White House has also rejected the report.

The US says it shot down four Iranian drones near the Strait of Hormuz and then struck Iranian radar sites on Qeshm Island and in Goruk.

Iran responded by firing seven ballistic missiles at US facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain; the US says six were intercepted and one missed its target.

Ukraine launched a large overnight drone attack across multiple Russian regions, targeting military, oil, and port infrastructure.

One reported target was the Kronstadt Marine Plant, a naval shipyard near Saint Petersburg, shortly before the final day of Russia's major economic forum.

The U.S. Air Force is scrambling to replace MQ-9 Reaper drones after losing nearly 30 in operations against Iran, plus additional losses in missions against the Houthis.

With the MQ-9A no longer in production, the Air Force plans to buy unused aircraft from General Atomics, but fewer than 10 are reportedly available.

The Air Force's MQ-9 fleet has dropped from 165 aircraft at the start of FY2026 to about 135 today.

The Lebanese Army says several soldiers, including a senior officer, were killed in an Israeli strike on a military vehicle near Nabatieh in southern Lebanon this morning.

According to Al Jazeera, the officer held the rank of brigadier general equivalent.

Reports say 400+ Ukrainian drones are en route to Russia; Kronstadt near St. Petersburg has reportedly been closed after an earlier attack.
