Five workers were killed and two injured in an explosion at Hanwha Aerospace's rocket propellant factory in Daejeon, South Korea.

The blast occurred on a solid rocket fuel production line during what is believed to have been cleaning or maintenance work.

It's the third deadly explosion at the same facility — after incidents in May 2018 (2 killed) and February 2019 (3 killed).

Satellite imagery from May 29 shows a 252-meter vessel on fire at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz, with four suspected IRGC large speedboats approaching from the Iranian direction and a fifth departing southeast.

IRGC Navy releases footage of fast-boat patrols in the Strait of Hormuz, describing them as round-the-clock routine operations.

The boats are tasked with "guiding" transiting vessels — and stopping any that ignore warnings.

Greece released Alexandros Giotopoulos, 82 — convicted leader of the Marxist terrorist group 17 November, which killed 23 people including four American officials between 1975 and 2002 — after 24 years of a 17-life-sentence.

The US State Department called it a "deep disappointment" and urged Greece to return him to prison.

Greece's deputy supreme court prosecutor has filed an appeal to annul the release, arguing the minimum 25-year threshold wasn't met.

The group's victims included four American officials: CIA station chief Richard Welch (1975), Navy Captain George Tsantes (1983), Navy Captain William Nordeen (1988), and Army Sergeant Ronald Stewart (1994).

Two Turkish diplomats were also killed: embassy press attaché Çetin Görgü (1991) and embassy adviser Haluk Sipahioğlu (1994), along with a British military attaché.

The remaining 16 victims were prominent Greeks, including the brother-in-law of current Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Leaked documents suggest that Chinese firm Geedge Networks is developing AI that analyzes internet activity, location data, social media behavior, and other digital records to identify people who might become political dissidents.
