A Ukrainian Border Guard FPV drone from the "Phoenix" unit struck a Russian logistics truck 103km behind enemy lines — claimed as a world record for a standard quadcopter FPV with no relay assistance.

The unit noted that 70–80km strikes are now routine.

They had to fly over 100km just to find a target.

Reza Pahlavi publicly called out protesters wearing SAVAK T-shirts, saying the symbol is "controversial" and hands ammunition to the regime to attack the opposition movement.

SAVAK was the Shah's feared secret police, notorious for torturing and executing political dissidents during the Pahlavi era.

A Russian drone struck an apartment building in Galați, Romania, injuring two people.

The drone hit the roof of a residential building near the Ukrainian border.

At the same time, Russia was attacking the nearby Ukrainian port city of Izmail across the Danube River.

The explosion occurred while the rocket was on the launch pad, but no one was injured and all personnel were reported safe.

The debris appears to be from a Russian-made Shahed-136/Geran-2 drone.

There are a couple of issues regarding the nuclear stuff: the highly enriched stockpile and the question of enrichment.

So, you know, we're going back and forth with them.

These ceasefires are always a little messy, and sometimes the guys at the lower level aren't communicating with the guys at the top level.

Sometimes people make mistakes, but even when the ceasefire is holding, as we've seen not just in Iran but all over the world, sometimes these things have little flare-ups.

If you compare the conflict now to where it was five or six weeks ago, I think the president's ceasefire is very much holding.

JD Vance on Iran:

If you look at what we've already accomplished here, assuming that we're able to get to a final agreement, we're reopening the Straits of Hormuz.

We've already decimated their conventional military, and we're in a position where we could substantially set back their nuclear programs—not just during the term of this president, but over the long term.

That's a very, very good thing for the American people.

JD Vance on Iran:

We do think they're negotiating, at least so far, in good faith, and we're making some progress.

Hopefully, we'll continue to make progress. The president will be in a position where he can endorse the agreement, but obviously that's still TBD.

NATO:

Early this morning, an apartment building in Romania was struck by a drone as Russia attacked Ukrainian infrastructure near the border.

We condemn Russia’s recklessness, and NATO will continue to strengthen our defences against all threats, including drones.

One of the newest and most surprising elements of the Iran peace draft deal is a proposed investment fund for Iran — reportedly $300 billion.

Iran originally framed this as reparations for war damage (which it estimates at $300B–$1T). The U.S. side is rebranding it as an international "investment fund" it would help facilitate — a softer framing that avoids the word reparations.

The idea apparently originated with Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who floated promoting Tehran real estate projects and a broader investment vehicle as deal sweeteners.
