A senior Iranian source told Reuters the US has shown limited flexibility in talks over Iran’s nuclear program and sanctions relief.

Washington has reportedly agreed to unfreeze only 25% of Iranian funds in phases, while Tehran wants full access to assets and all sanctions lifted.

Iran’s revised proposal also calls for a permanent ceasefire, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and delaying detailed nuclear talks to later stages.

U.S. and Israeli officials are making their most intensive military preparations since the cease-fire, amid fears that attacks on Iran could resume as early as this week.

Germany's Chancellor Merz continues to demand:

Iran must no longer take the region and the entire world hostage. The military nuclear program must be verifiably ended. There must be no attacks against Israel and our partners in the region.

Iran must once again allow free and unrestricted passage through the Strait of Hormuz. We will continue to work toward that.
