Iranโ€™s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi:

The Strait of Hormuz is open, except for vessels belonging to countries who are at war with us.

The Strait is located in the territorial waters of Iran and Oman. There is no international waters in between.

Everything should be managed by Iran and Oman.

Iranโ€™s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on the UAE:

The same country that blocked the BRICS statement provided the US and Israeli forces with their airspace, their territories, their military bases.

As far as we are concerned, they are a direct party to this aggression.

Reporter: Admiral Cooper was asked yesterday about the strike on the girls school on the first day of the war.

Trump: You're talking about the original โ€” that is under investigation.

Reporter: Are you able to confirm that it was a US missile?

Trump: Who are you with?

Reporter: BBC.

Trump: Fake BBC.

Iranโ€™s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on the UAE:

Israelis cannot protect them. Americans cannot protect them.

That was proved during this war โ€” their relation with Israel became a source of insecurity instead of security.

We know that there are spoilers who tried to derail diplomacy.

Warmongers who want to drag the US again into another war.

I hope wisdom and diplomacy would finally prevail.

Netanyahu:

The areas of buffer that we created around us โ€” in Gaza, in Lebanon, in Syria โ€” all these changed the face of the Middle East.

We will continue to struggle with determination against any threat of radical Islam.

At the same time, we will expand cooperation with the moderate elements in our region.

Reporter: Have you rejected the latest proposal from Iran or where does that stand?

Trump: Well, I looked at it and if I don't like the first sentence, I just throw it away.

Reporter: What was the first sentence?

Trump: An unacceptable sentence. If they have any nuclear in any form, I don't read the rest.

Trump: No, itโ€™s New York Times fake news. The missile launchers are probably 80% gone.

Before boarding Air Force One to leave Beijing, the entire U.S. delegation dumped every item given to them by Chinese hosts โ€” gifts, badges, pins, commemorative items โ€” into a trash bin on site.

Nothing of Chinese origin got on the plane.

The delegation had already left personal devices at home and used clean burner phones throughout the trip.

Prof. Kenneth Roth | Former Director of Human Rights Watch | Princeton University:

The RSF is the successor of the genocidal Janjaweed, a younger generation, that just committed genocide in Al-Fasher.

They surrounded the city, starving it for months, then killing everyone they could.

This was only possible because the UAE was arming the RSF. RSF sends gold, UAE sends arms. This continued through atrocity after atrocity.

The UAE is guilty of aiding & abetting genocide. The task now: stop it - and bring those responsible to justice.

Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Ukraine and many other crises indicate that we must strengthen our defense and increase our industrial cooperation.

Tรผrkiye is ready to share the experience we have gained in defense industry shaped by high technology with the members of our organization.

The UAE isn't just laundering money - it's sending planeloads of arms through Chad disguised as humanitarian aid.

That is largely what made the RSF a formidable military force - at one point nearly overwhelming the Sudanese army.

Today the RSF controls most of Darfur. Like the Janjaweed before them, they are targeting Black African ethnic groups.

This genocide is made possible by UAE-supplied drones & sophisticated arms that allow the RSF to hold territory.

The dominant factor driving UAE foreign policy is fear of political Islam, more than any other Gulf state.

UAE's lesson from the Arab Spring: if you allow political Islam, you get another Egypt. That is their nightmare.

UAE's goal is to suppress political Islam everywhere. In Libya & Sudan too.

Even Egypt's Sisi - who shares UAE's distaste for political Islam - is backing the Sudanese army.

The UAE also has financial incentives to help the RSF. Dubai is a gold trading hub & the UAE wants Sudan's gold.

Sudan also has fertile agricultural land, which Gulf states covet for food security.

And an RSF-controlled Sudan would give the UAE greater access to the Red Sea coast.

But the dominant factor, as so often with the UAE, is fear of political Islam.
