Ukraine's Verkhovna Rada registered draft law, proposing to recognize the Gagauz โ a Turkic-speaking Orthodox Christian people numbering about 26,000โ32,000 in Ukraine, mostly in southern Odesa Oblast โ as an indigenous people of Ukraine.
The bill, initiated by five Servant of the People MPs led by Ruslan Horbenko, would expand the current list (Crimean Tatars, Karaites, Krymchaks) and grant the Gagauz enhanced cultural, linguistic, and educational rights, including Gagauz-language schooling.
The move follows FM Andrii Sybiha's October 2025 backing of the step, calling the Gagauz "an important bridge" between Ukraine and the Turkic world.

Tรผrkiye's ASELSAN says its TOLUN family of precision-guided munitions has entered powerful serial production and is ready for operational deployment.
ASELSAN posted footage of hundreds of TOLUN units lined up in storage hangars, factory assembly, an F-16 release with glide wings deploying, and a direct hit on a hardened concrete bunker.
The 250 lb-class SDB-equivalent features a ~105 kg penetrating warhead capable of breaching 1 meter of reinforced concrete, INS/GNSS guidance with CRPA anti-jam antennas, sub-10-meter CEP accuracy, and a stand-off range of up to 100+ km when released from F-16s or Bayraktar AKINCI UAVs.
With variants including TOLUN-P, TOLUN-F, TOLUN-IIR, ground-launched TOLUN-S, and the newer TOLUN-EW, ASELSAN's mass-production capacity signals a major boost to Tรผrkiye's indigenous stand-off strike capability.

EU's Kaja Kallas:
If we give the right to Russia to appoint negotiator on our behalf, you know, that would not be very wise.
I think Gerhard Schrรถder has been the high-level lobbyist for Russian state-owned companies, so it's clear why Putin wants him to be the person โ so that actually, you know, he would be sitting on both sides of the table.

We saw that this ceasefire that Putin wanted was only very cynical โ to protect his parade, whereas they were actually attacking civilians in Ukraine.
Ukraine kept to the ceasefire, like previously offered ceasefires, unconditionally. Russia didn't really stand up to this.

Iran's FM Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei:
Iran has proven to be a responsible power in the region, and at the same time, we are not bullies โ rather, we are anti-bullies. Just look at our conduct.
Were we the ones who launched a military campaign against America thousands of miles away? Were we the ones who killed 170 innocent people in a single day? Are we the ones bullying Cuba, Venezuela, and other countries in the Western Hemisphere? Were we the ones who, during a diplomatic process, committed such a great crime โ twice?
Is attacking a country, destroying its infrastructure, and assassinating the leader and citizens of a country an example of responsible behavior?

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir warned the Knesset on Sunday that the military urgently needs thousands more soldiers after nearly three years of multi-front war.
"I deal with multi-front war and defeating the enemy. To keep doing that, the IDF needs more soldiers immediately," he said.
"The army will fall apart if everyone serves only on their own terms," Zamir said.

Iran's FM Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei:
Our demands are legitimate: halting the war, lifting the blockade, ending maritime piracy, and releasing Iran's assets that have been unjustly frozen in banks under American pressure.
Safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz and establishing security in the region and in Lebanon were among Iran's other demands โ a generous and legitimate proposal for regional security.
Unfortunately, America continues to push its one-sided viewpoint.

Checkmate in Iran

Robert Kagan โ a prominent American neoconservative โ argues in The Atlantic that the U.S. is heading toward total defeat in its war with Iran, with consequences that "can neither be repaired nor ignored."
Despite 37 days of devastating U.S. and Israeli strikes that killed much of Iran's leadership and crippled its military, Tehran made no concessions, and Trump halted attacks after Iran's March 18 retaliation on Qatar's Ras Laffan gas plant caused damage that will take years to repair.
Kagan says Iran will keep control of the Strait of Hormuz โ gaining global leverage over energy supplies, dictating terms to Gulf states, and emerging stronger alongside allies China and Russia.
He warns the war has exposed America as a "paper tiger," depleted weapons stocks, and accelerated a "post-American world," potentially encouraging Xi Jinping on Taiwan and Putin in Europe.
