Trump told Axios he'll reject Iran's response to the latest draft agreement aimed at ending the war, after the U.S. waited 10 days for Tehran's reply.

"I don't like their letter. It's inappropriate. I don't like their response," he said, adding that Iran has "been tapping along many nations for 47 years."

He confirmed he spoke with Netanyahu on Sunday — "a very nice call" — but stressed the Iran talks are "my situation, not everybody else's."

Trump has been privately asking advisers whether they prefer JD Vance or Marco Rubio for 2028, sometimes suggesting they just run together.

Aides say he's mostly having fun, but the two men he calls "the kids" are clearly stepping up as midterms approach.
