BIG: A hacker claims to have breached a Chinese state supercomputer and stolen 10+ petabytes of sensitive data, including military and aerospace research, and is now trying to sell it online.

Experts say the leak appears credible and was extracted over months via a security gap.

JD Vance on Lebanon:

We said that the ceasefire would be focused on Iran and Americaโ€™s allies.

JD Vance:

If Iran wants to let this negotiation fall apart over Lebanon, which has nothing to do with them, that is ultimately their choice.

We think that would be dumb, but itโ€™s their choice.

JD Vance on the Strait of Hormuz:

Weโ€™ve already seen an increase in traffic today; hopefully, weโ€™ll see an increase in traffic tomorrow. We actually think that we are seeing signs that the straits are starting to reopen.

I think you guys have probably seen oil prices have come down. So, I think the oil markets, the gas markets, are seeing the same thing.

But the presidentโ€™s been very clear: the deal is a ceasefire, a negotiation. Thatโ€™s what we give, and what they give is that the straits are going to be reopened.

If we donโ€™t see that happening, the president is not going to abide by our terms if the Iranians are not abiding by their terms.

JD Vance:

The Israelis have actually offered to check themselves a little bit in Lebanon because they want to make sure that our negotiation is successful.

That's not because that is part of the ceasefire. I think that's the Israelis trying to set us up for success.

The Iranians have got to take the next step, or Trump has a lot of options to go back to the war.

Trump has talked about sanctions relief. He has also talked about economic partnerships and things like that.

But thatโ€™s not going to happen unless the Iranians make a firm commitment to stop anything close to the development of a nuclear weapon.

Reporter: Is the threat to wipe Iranian civilization off the map still on the table? Is it fair to keep 90 million Iranians under that threat for the actions of their leaders?

JD Vance: The leadership is really to blame for the condition of the country of Iran.

You know, my wife has the right to skydive, but she doesnโ€™t jump out of an airplane because we have an agreement that sheโ€™s not going to do thatโ€”I donโ€™t want my wife jumping out of an airplane.

We donโ€™t really concern ourselves with what they claim they have the right to do; we concern ourselves with what they actually do.

JD Vance on Lebanon:

I think the situation with Lebanon is a โ€œreasonable misunderstanding.โ€

Neither we nor the Israelis said that Lebanon was going to be part of the ceasefire.

JD Vance:

Ghalibaf talked about an attack that had allegedly happened on Iran and how that was a violation of the ceasefire.

Ceasefires are always messy. An hour after the president announced the ceasefire, the Iranians launched a bunch of missiles. Then the Israelis responded, then some of the Gulf Arab states responded.

This is the nature of a ceasefire. No ceasefire ever goes without a little bit of choppiness.

JD Vance:

The first 10-point proposal was something that was submitted, and we frankly think it was probably written by ChatGPT.

It immediately went into the garbage and was rejected.

There was a second 10-point proposal that was much more reasonable.

It was based on some back-and-forth between us and the Pakistanis. That is the proposal the president was referencing, and itโ€™s true as of yesterday.

And then, frankly, Iโ€™ve seen a third 10-point proposal thatโ€™s even more maximalist than the first one thatโ€™s been floating around various social media channels.

Senior Iranian official Mohsen Rezaee:

We stand with all our might alongside the Hezbollah mujahideen, and we will punish the Zionist enemy.

The responsibility for the collapse of the ceasefire lies with America, which either does not want to or cannot leash its rabid dog.

Violations of the ceasefire by America will also not be tolerated.

Oil companies are quietly pushing back against Trumpโ€™s Iran peace plan because it could allow Iran to charge tolls on ships using the Strait of Hormuz.

Executives warn that adding fees of around $2โ€“2.5 million per shipment, along with higher insurance costs, would drive up global oil prices and could even expose companies to sanctions violations.

Theyโ€™ve been raising these concerns with officials like Marco Rubio and JD Vance, though the administration appears open to considering Iranโ€™s proposal.

Iran says shipping in the Strait of Hormuz stopped after Israel violated the ceasefire with strikes on Lebanon.

IRGC said vessel traffic halted minutes after the attacks, while the White House maintains Lebanon is not part of the US-Iran ceasefire.
