So I call it a military operation.

Trump:

Africa has tremendous potential if they can unify.

Trump on NATO:

I guess we don’t have to be there for NATO based on their actions.

That sounds like a breaking story, right? But that is a fact.

Trump:

I know it doesn’t sound right for me to say this, but I would love my legacy to be made as a great peacemaker.

Meanwhile, the United States and Israel are bombing Iran.

Ten U.S. service members were injured in an Iranian missile and drone attack on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

Two were very seriously injured and eight seriously injured.

Israel says it shot down the missile.

It appears the Houthis may be joining the wider Iran–Israel fighting more directly.

At a G7 meeting, EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas pressed U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on why the U.S. hasn’t taken tougher action against Russia.

Kallas pointed out that a year had passed without increased pressure, asking when U.S. “patience” would run out.

Rubio, visibly frustrated, shot back that the U.S. is doing its best to end the war and suggested critics try themselves.

The USS George H.W. Bush carrier strike group is being sent to the U.S. Central Command region, where American forces are operating around Iran.

It has just completed combat-readiness training, meaning it’s prepared for major operations.

Officials say it could join ongoing actions against Iran, but no final decision has been made.
