A major Ukrainian drone strike hit Russiaโs Ust-Luga port, sparking a fire at the NOVATEK gas-condensate plant.
Ust-Luga is one of Russiaโs key western export hubs for oil products and condensate on the Baltic, used to move large volumes to foreign markets.
Ust-Luga handles around 700,000 barrels per day of oil exports and exported 32.9 million metric tons of oil products last year.
This was a deep strike, roughly 1,000 km from Ukrainian territory in some estimates.
It shows Ukraine can still reach strategic infrastructure near the Gulf of Finland and close to the Estonian border.

Container ship MSC Danit docked in Egypt carrying military-grade steel reportedly destined for Israeli defense companies, after facing protests or refusals elsewhere.
The steel is said to be part of a broader shipment chain linked to Israelโs munitions industry, including artillery and tank ammunition production.
Some dockworkers and activists in countries like Greece, Spain, Italy, and Tรผrkiye opposed handling the cargo, while Egypt allowed the vessel to unload.

A new RUSI commentary says the first 16 days of the Iran war exposed a brutal reality: the U.S.-Israel coalition is burning through munitions at a financially and industrially unsustainable rate.
According to the piece, coalition forces fired 11,294 munitions in just over two weeks at an estimated cost of about $26 billion, including more than 5,000 munitions in the first 96 hours alone.
The authors argue the bigger problem is the cost-exchange ratio: using multi-million-dollar interceptors to shoot down far cheaper Iranian drones and missiles.
One of the starkest examples: coalition forces reportedly fired around 509,500 rounds from C-RAM and similar gun systems, costing only about $25 million, while spending at least $19 billion on missile interceptors over the same period.
RUSI warns the real danger is not just how much has been spent, but how hard it will be to replace.
The authors say the current $26 billion wartime expenditure could cost more than $50 billion to replenish, because wartime production surges are slower and much more expensive.

14-year-old Israeli boy charged with spying for Iran for $1,170.
Israeli prosecutors have indicted a 14-year-old boy from central Israel on charges of contact with a foreign agent and passing information to Iran, after allegedly carrying out paid tasks for Iranian handlers.
According to the indictment, the teen was instructed to spray anti-government graffiti across Tel Aviv and on the home of Foreign Minister Gideon Saโar, film the Kirya military headquarters, and was even asked to rent an apartment near the Kirya.
In response, he reportedly sent a photo of a rental listing and contacted several local landlords who matched the request.
After being questioned, he allegedly tried to get a classmate to lie to investigators and claim that the $1,170 found in his digital wallets had come from him.

7 Iraqi Army soldiers were killed and 13 wounded after a U.S. airstrike hit the clinic and engineering department at the Habbaniyah base in Anbar.
The base, which is shared by the Iraqi Army and PMF/Hashd al-Shaabi, was struck in two consecutive U.S. attacks on March 24โ25.
Baghdad called the strikes a serious violation of Iraqi sovereignty, especially because a military medical facility was hit, and has begun diplomatic and security consultations.

Tรผrkiye is pressing Gulf Arab states not to join the war against Iran.
Ankara has been urging Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, and others to show restraint through intensive diplomatic outreach.
While Gulf states are increasingly angry over Iranian strikes on ports, airports, and energy sites, they are still hesitant to enter the war directly unless Iran hits critical infrastructure like power and water facilities.
