We reject all kinds of actions that target regional geographies, and we believe that Israel’s attempts to whitewash its own crimes and its expansionist, occupying policies should never be allowed under the guise of this regional conflict, such actions must not be permitted.

There should be a rebuilding of trust—a trust that has unfortunately been destroyed by this aggression.

We must remember that, in the end, we share the same geography. We also share a history with the Iranian people, and we do not want such hard feelings between Iranians and Qataris, or among the peoples of the region.

We want our people to live in peace.

We are evaluating the damages. They can be compensated—unlike human lives.

But our message is this: targeting such a facility—one that represents a major source of income and a backbone of the Qatari economy—is unacceptable.

It also supports many people around the world who are already under stress.

We hope that the Republic of Iran understands that it is depriving these vulnerable people of the support we currently provide.
