Production limits already left Ukraine short of interceptors, and the new demand from the Middle East is worsening the shortage.

As Ukraine’s air defenses weaken, Russia is able to strike infrastructure and cities more easily. At the same time, higher oil prices from the conflict are boosting Russia’s economy, giving Moscow an additional advantage.

With Patriot production slow and stockpiles stretched across multiple regions, Ukraine may struggle to keep up with Russia’s growing missile attacks.
