Two U.S. F-16 “Wild Weasel” pilots survived a Houthi surface-to-air missile ambush over Yemen in March 2025, escaping six missiles in about 15 minutes and earning Silver Stars.

Their aircraft were equipped with HARM Targeting System (HTS) pods and fired AGM-88 HARM anti-radiation missiles before exiting the area.

After the strike, the Houthis executed a “SAMbush,” waiting until U.S. aircraft were egressing before activating radars and launching.

“We only had about 15–20 seconds of indications ahead of time.”

Lt. Col. William “Skate” Parks turned directly into an incoming missile — a last-ditch defensive tactic — and it passed beneath his wing.

“Close enough I can hear the rumble.”

Maj. Michael “Danger” Blea watched another missile close in.

“This is my only chance. I have one chance to make this miss.”

It missed by an estimated few dozen feet.

Pulling high-G defensive maneuvers and burning fuel rapidly, both jets risked flameout over hostile territory.

A tanker crew moved closer to the threat area and refueled them mid-crisis.

Both jets made it back safely after what they described as seconds separating them from death.

Iranian Army training helicopter crashed in Dorcheh, Khomeini Shahr (Isfahan Province), inside a wholesale fruit and vegetable market compound. Both the pilot and co-pilot were killed. No confirmed reports of additional casualties on the ground.
The crashed helicopter was reportedly an AH-1J Super Cobra, a pre-revolution attack helicopter still operated by Iranian Army Aviation.

Four people were killed: the pilot, co-pilot, and two civilians working at the market.

Iran's Super Cobra fleet has reportedly suffered previous losses during recent regional fighting, with some aircraft allegedly destroyed on the ground.

Man Accidentally Takes Control of 7,000 Robot Vacuums Worldwide

A software engineer accidentally gained access to nearly 7,000 DJI robot vacuums across 24 countries while trying to control his own with a gaming controller.

Sammy Azdoufal was building a custom app to drive his $2,000 DJI Romo with a gaming controller.

While reverse-engineering how the vacuum communicates with DJI’s servers — using an AI coding assistant — he found that the authentication token meant for his device granted access to thousands of others.

The backend security flaw gave him unintended access to other users’ devices; including live camera feeds, microphone audio, home maps, and location data.

In effect, the backend treated him as the owner of thousands of robots, creating what could have been a large-scale surveillance risk.

He reported the vulnerability instead of exploiting it.

DJI says the issue was patched in early February and required no user action.

NEW: Iran is reportedly close to finalizing a deal with China to purchase CM-302 supersonic anti-ship cruise missiles.

The missiles have a range of about 290 km, fly low and fast to evade ship defenses, and could significantly strengthen Iran’s ability to target naval vessels, including U.S. warships operating near its coast.

Talks began at least two years ago but accelerated after the recent 12-day Israel-Iran war.

Senior Iranian officials, including the deputy defense minister, reportedly traveled to China as negotiations entered final stages.

If completed, the deal would mark one of the most advanced Chinese weapons transfers to Iran in decades.

No delivery timeline or final confirmation has been announced.

Zelensky:

There are many dictatorships in the world. Some seal themselves off within their own borders, trying to block any outside influence of freedom. And others do not recognize borders at all and actively try to destroy the freedom of their neighbors, entire regions, and sometimes even the whole world.

When we deal with Russia, we face the second type of threat. It's a mentality, an unstable dictatorship that cannot accept that in Europe every life matters, human rights are important, and nations can be protected, whether they are big or small.

Putin cannot accept one simple thing: that somewhere people can live differently and enjoy a life that is not the one he prefers. That is why he has been consistently trying to break someone — not just now, not just for four years, but throughout his entire time in power. He is war itself, yes, and anyone who supports Putin cannot fail to understand that they are choosing war.

Putin:

The enemy doesn't hesitate to use any means. Well, it's already in the media, probably, their attempts or intentions to use even some kind of nuclear component. They probably understand how this can end.

Now there is also our operational information coming in; it should be in the media today as well, it probably already is. I haven't had time to look at anything yet, but we are talking about a possible explosion in our gas systems on the bottom of the Black Sea.

These are the so-called TurkStream and Blue Stream. They just can't calm down.

That does not mean that Iran may never try again to establish a nuclear program.

White House on Iran:

Trump's first option is always diplomacy, but as he has shown, he is willing to use the lethal force of the United States military if necessary.

I've seen a lot of sensationalist reporting over the past day that is just completely untrue.

Anyone speculating to the media, hiding behind an anonymous source, pretending to know what Trump is thinking or a decision he will make with respect to action against Iran has no idea what they're talking about.
