Hungary's Foreign Minister Szijjártó:

If Ukraine joins the European Union, the EU would become involved in Ukraine’s war. That is something we definitely do not want.

The war in Ukraine is not our war. We have no responsibility for this war.

We believe it is a major lie when both Ukrainian and European leaders claim that Ukraine is protecting Europe. That is not true.

Russia has not attacked any member state of the European Union. Therefore, the European Union does not need protection from Ukraine. European countries are protected by NATO, not by Ukraine.

The claim that Ukraine is fighting for European countries is false. Ukraine is fighting for itself. They are fighting heroically, and we respect that very much.

But this is their war, not ours. Since Ukraine is defending itself, not us, we do not owe Ukraine anything.

We reject the argument that we are indebted to Ukraine because they are protecting us.

We stand for peace. We all know that peace can only be achieved through negotiations. We also know that negotiations require communication channels.

That is why we have kept our channels with Russia open at all times.

We have also ensured that Hungarian taxpayers’ money is not sent to Ukraine.

Hungary's Foreign Minister Szijjártó:

Leaving the European Union has never been on our agenda.

The EU has weakened dramatically — it is no longer a decisive global actor. The war is in Europe, but the EU is not even at the negotiating table.

We say no to war, migration, and gender ideology — and that puts us in direct conflict with Brussels.

Europe’s interest in Hungary’s elections is unusually intense. If we lose, Brussels’ political program will be implemented in Hungary.

A change of government would mean sending Hungarian taxpayers’ money to Ukraine.

Hungary would be dragged into war, accept migrants, and support Ukraine’s EU membership.

Hungary's Foreign Minister Szijjártó:

We have first-hand experience of the high standards set by the Turkish defense industry.

However, some European countries are trying to exclude Turkish defense companies from new procurement programs aimed at increasing Europe’s defense capacity. We do not agree with this.

Türkiye is a NATO member. Therefore, we see no valid reason to exclude Turkish defense companies.

Hungary–Türkiye defense cooperation will continue to advance.

Britain's Reform UK party's Shadow Home Secretary Zia Yusuf on illegal immigration:

More people have arrived on our beaches uninvited than stormed the beaches on D-Day.

Britain has been overwhelmed by immigration, both legal and illegal.

This is the most profound betrayal of the British electorate in history.

If you are in this country illegally, I will ensure that you are deported.

We will stop the boats. We will secure our borders.

We will derogate from every international treaty that blocks deportations.

Britain's Reform UK party's Richard Tice:

To be a rich nation, you must have cheap energy — as we did in the 1980s and 1990s.

That means using our valuable energy resources — oil and gas, offshore and onshore — and having the courage to move away from what we have called “net zero madness”.

Energy policy has destroyed our industrial base. Net zero has de-industrialized Britain.

If we achieve those things, we can re-industrialize Britain. We can re-energize Britain. We can renew Britain. And yes, we can rebuild Britain.

Mexico's President Claudia Sheinbaum:

We will continue sending humanitarian aid — food and other assistance that the Cuban people need.

For now, we will not send fuel. We do not agree with imposing tariffs on countries that sell oil to Cuba.

We believe in the self-determination of peoples. It is the Cuban people who must decide how they are governed.

There must be no interference or intervention by anyone else.

Polish PM Tusk:

Poland does not foresee participation in President Trump’s Peace Council. If a Polish representative goes to Washington, it will only be as an observer.

Poland will not send Polish soldiers to the Gaza Strip. We have our own security problems — everyone knows what the Polish army is focused on.

Poland is not interested in co-financing development projects in Gaza.

Our money is needed for investments in Polish cities.

Hillary Clinton on Ukraine:

If you want a just, lasting settlement in Ukraine, you have to better equip Ukraine.

You have to give them long-range missiles. You have to provide them with truly adequate, functioning air defense systems.

That’s the only thing Putin will understand.

John Bolton:

The real governing force in Iran is the Revolutionary Guard. The Ayatollahs provide religious cover — the Guard runs the power.

The IRGC controls 40% of the economy and the nuclear and missile programs. If we destroy the Guard, everything changes.

There will be turmoil. This regime has ruled for 46 years.

The real question is whether we and our allies will be free of nuclear threat.

Hillary Clinton on Trump:

When he lost in 2020, I think it broke something in him. I think he could not believe that he had been turned out, which is why he instigated the attack on our Capitol and why, to this day, he denies the facts of that election.

I don’t know whether it was some psychic wound that he cannot heal, or whether he physically and mentally has become so obsessed that he can’t really live in the truth based on evidence. I don’t know the answer.

We speculate about it a lot, because his language, his physical behavior — there are things going on with him that are very different than they were 10 years ago.
