Dutch lawmakers approved a reform that will impose a 36% tax on unrealized gains from crypto, stocks, and bonds starting January 1, 2028 (pending final Senate approval).

Example:

If your crypto or stock portfolio rises €10,000 in a year, you could owe €3,600 in tax, even without cashing out.

Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) claims its Alpha special forces destroyed roughly half of Russia’s Pantsir short-range air defense systems during sustained long-range strikes in 2025.

According to the SBU, degrading these systems created gaps in Russian air defenses, allowing deeper Ukrainian drone and precision strikes.
