The U.S. and Ukraine are discussing a push for a Russia–Ukraine peace deal by March, though major disagreements—especially over territory—make that deadline unlikely.

Washington wants any deal quickly put to a Ukrainian referendum alongside national elections, possibly in May.

Iran looks like they want to make a deal very badly as they should.

Last time they decided maybe not to do it, but I think they probably feel differently.

I guess during the end of it, there was some kind of a picture that people don’t like. I wouldn’t like it either, but I didn’t see it.

I looked at the first part and it was really about voter fraud and the machines, how crooked it is, how disgusting it is. Then I gave it to the people.

Generally they look at the whole thing, but I guess somebody didn’t and they posted it and we took it down.

Reporter: A number of Republicans are calling on you to apologize for that Obama post. Is that something you’re going to do?

Trump: No, I didn’t make a mistake. I look at thousands of things. I looked at the beginning of it. It was fine. I guess it was a takeoff on the Lion King. A lot of people were covered.

If they would have looked, they would have seen it and probably they would have had the sense to take it down.

Trump on Iran:

We have plenty of time. If you remember Venezuela, we waited around for a while and we’re in no rush.

We have very good talks going with Iran. I think the results today with Iran were very good.

We’re going to meet again early next week. They want to make a deal. Iran, as they should, want to make a deal.

They know the consequences. If they don’t make a deal, the consequences are very steep. We’ll see what happens.

Trump on Iran:

The one thing, right up front, no nuclear weapons. If we could have made that deal two years ago, we would have made that deal. But they weren’t willing to do that. Now they are willing to do it.

They’re willing to do much more than they would have a year and a half ago.

If they would have offered this deal originally when we first started, it would have been accepted immediately.

Trump:

I am the least racist President you’ve had in a long time.

Trump on his Obama post:

I guess probably nobody reviewed the end of it because what I saw at the beginning was really strong.

It was about fraudulent elections and anytime I see that stuff and when it’s credible you put it up, but somebody slipped and missed a very small part.

NEW: The Pentagon says it will cut ties with Harvard University, ending all military training, fellowships and certificate programs starting in the 2026–27 academic year.

There are video games that sometimes even have an educational aspect and that are good.

But it is clear that there are violent video games that create excitement and dependency, where young people and adolescents spend hours and hours and sometimes do not sleep. So we see sleep disorders and other problems.

That is what I say to families first: your role is to pay attention to your children and your adolescents. Do not let them spend that much time.

AI is transforming our relationship to reality, because it creates a permanent doubt: is this real, or was it made with AI?

There is a solution to this: making AI labeling mandatory in our rules.

The idea is simple: content circulates everywhere, but content like this must clearly state at the bottom, “made with AI.”

If that is not the case, then the person who disseminates it bears responsibility.

The average screen time for a teenager is 4 hours and 20 minutes per day. That’s insane — and you’re not supervising the content.

When you let your children go on social media, you have absolutely no guarantee they won’t be exposed to extremely violent scenes.

We are not going to delegate to parents alone the responsibility — and sometimes the pressure — of deciding whether, at age 12, it’s a good or bad idea to essentially hand one’s brain over to platforms.

For me, before the age of 15, this is fundamentally a public health issue and an issue of protecting our children and our teenagers.

I believe in innovation. I believe in artificial intelligence and in what it can allow us to do to live better.

But only if it serves humans. If it is not under control, then it is harmful.

We have many young people who talk to AI — whether on ChatGPT or on Meta, on WhatsApp — like to a friend, to whom they confide secrets they do not confide to another human being.

That leads to withdrawal and isolation, and it can also lead to serious abuses that we have already seen in some extremely severe cases.
